General Manager, Operations

Ivan Anthony a globally experienced Australian Mining Engineer joined First Bauxite in October 2023 as the General Manager of Operations, He brings some 40 years of Multiple Minerals Mining Experience from 12 International postings throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America and Oceania. He holds a Masters Degree in Mining Engineering from Federation University, a Diploma of Business, a Diploma of Metalliferous Mining Open pit and underground and holds Statutory Qualifications as a Mine Engineering Manager Metalliferous and Coal, Mine Managers Certificates of Competency Metalliferous and Coal, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AUSIMM). His career encompasses both open pit and underground mining. He focuses on ensuring quality sustainable mining of the bauxite resource at the Bonasika Minesite in Guyana.
